He has been working in the field of building materials for more than 20 years and has gained a wealth of experience. He is a retired civil engineer whose specialisation is concrete.
Bruce Raath is able to diagnose and establish the cause of most problems associated with concrete and can give recommendations for repair. He has also written and authored training courses around the subject of concrete technology and usage. The courses have been given CPD accreditation and are aimed at designers and constructors of concrete structures and infrastructure etc.
Bruce also has an Advanced Concrete Technology Diploma through Imperial College, University of London.
As a member of the SAICE, the British Institute of Concrete Technologists, an Associate Member of the SA Association of Arbitrators and the Institution of Structural Engineers, he is in a position to assist with many problems associated with concrete, its design and construction.
